About Matt.....

Though many try, not everybody has what it takes to make his living helping others catch "the fish of ten thousand casts." Matt Polman has proven his metal against the musky lurking in Madison area and northern Wisconsin lakes since 1985, and by fishing competitively on the PMTT (Professional Musky Tournament Trail).

Most recently, Matt took 5th and won the Ranger Cup in the PMTTs Mercury Marine's Summer Challenge on the Eagle River Chain of lakes on 6/23-6/24/2007.  This recent tournament placement puts the Polman and Schaeffer Team at 8th place in the Top Gun Standings.  Click Here to see the results and to follow Polman and Schaeffer as they compete for the Top Gun Award with tournaments in Cass Lake, Minnesota and the Madison Chain of Lakes with the final Ranger Boats World Championship in Cave Run, Kentucky!   

Active in conservation efforts, Matt is a member of Muskies, Inc. and promotes the Catch, Photo, Release philosophy of musky fishing, allowing the fish to grow larger for more exciting hunts.
